‘Flow’ is spending the summer at the Melbourne Zoo along with the National Geographic photo exhibition and a number of other really great artists from all around Australia who also work with plastics. ‘Flow’ will be in the middle of the zoo, under the bamboo M Pavilion beside the Carousel.
‘Flow’ has been created from approximately 50,000 donated recycled plastic lids. These plastic lids flow like a comforting blanket over whatever it rests upon yet smothers all underneath. It is reminiscent of what our waterways could look like if the production of single-use plastics continues at its current rate.
