Exciting news!
Monterey Bay Aquarium, California has recently confirmed the inclusion of my artworks for a new permanent exhibition within the Ocean Travellers area.
My artworks will continue the ‘Antagonism' series further into algae. This series of twelve artworks aim to create dialogue between the negative and positive effects plastic has upon our natural world. The cutwork shape of the algae remains in the plastic bottle as the negative and the algae transforms the plastic from rubbish to the positive aspect.
I will share gallery space with artists; Chris Jordan photograph's look at mass phenomena that occur on a global scale, Bryant Austin a photographer who creates life-size photographs of endangered whale species and Alyssa Irizarry, an art historian and environmentalist.
